Definitely doing that. Im in a fortunate position that I dont have to sell one to fund another. But buying this next one is the biggest car decision i have made in a while.
The one thing that I forgot to mention. I drive every one of my cars all summer long. This car wont sit, I enjoy them too much. Even if its just to go cut my grass at my office. So if driving a gt wont affect it at all, it has to be considered because I absolutely love the look of them.
Never thought of it that way. The orange vert is staying with me. I love it and its the only one with the tan/orange interior that was ever made to my knowledge. The gt really strikes me though. Im going to look at one in person this week.
I just got off the phone with the dealer that I bought my 08 vert from. He currently has 5 2009's left over and has 4 2010's on the way. Im looking to add one more collector car to the stable and a 2010 ACR may be one of the candidates. Anyways, he tells me that he is getting 2 acr's in...
As I was getting all of the mopars situated in the barn for the winter last week I noticed a nail in the left front tire of my 08. Its in the tread. Whats the best way to fix it? Patch from the inside after you dismount it or just replace the damn thing to prevent any safety problems. As u...
12.4 going through the traps at 125mph. I couldnt get off the line, I had to slowly roll into it. My 60 ft time was 2.2 if that tells u anything. Im a complete rookie. I have been down the 1/4 mile 8 times. And 6 of those 8 were this wkend. But it was fun.
To put it mildly, racing the 08 and hanging out with other viper owners was absolutely awesome last weekend. I didnt post the best times but it was a blast. Once again, what an awesome group of people viper owners are. Always looking to share info or help out. Thats what this hobby is...
Going to nationals this weds. What can I expect to run in the 1/4 mile with a stock 2008. Keep in mind. Im not going through the water box and Ive only been down the track about 6 times. (complete rookie)
I agree, If the person has something equal in value (one of my friends). We will switch it up once in a while. Never a stranger. But their driving style is the same as mine. Slow and safe at first. Then you can mash it. Keep in mind. They are only cars. To me that is.
Just decided. We are bringing the orange one this year to race. We are staying in Heath at the Longeberger Basket hotel (by the square). Is this close to where you guys are meeting?
Just wondering if you guys think I will be able to run my 08 vert in the sportsman class or just in the fun run...... or not at all at the nationals in Columbus? Im not sure what the rules are. Im registered to race. But Ive always brought muscle to run not the viper. Thoughts?
I totally agree. The salvage title abd 20K worth of parts and labor will put you right into the mid 60's. Go buy a slightly used one and you will be better off. The best part is the car only has 1500 miles. A little too much horsepower, eh?
Sounds like he should have done a little more research before his purchase. The world wouldnt be any fun without stupid people. Actually, it would be downright boring without them!
