Why so many single car accidents?
When I am driving in my Viper I keep in the back of my mind that the car in itself is a better performance vehicle than I am driver. Yes I have gone to driving schools, I also did the SRT track experience thru Dodge and they let us hammer on Vipers. My point in this is you can drive it like...- Burntrubber

Looking for owners/previous owners of both C5Z06 & Gen II Viper GTS
When I bought my 96 GTS I was also thinking of buying my friends 03 Z06. I really liked the Z06, it is a great car and easy to drive. Why so many single car accidents?
The car definitly has to be respected, what an amazing amount of grip but once it goes it goes. I have only tries an aggresive launch once and just smoked em. I remember when I had my 2000 mustang GT,(i know, i know) it was so much fun because you could just hammer on the thing but the power...- Burntrubber

RPM Shifting Methods
FYI...My SRT-10 QC Ram turns 3K rpm at 80, and has 4:56 gears in a 4 speed auto. I think the gen III engines can hamdle high rpm's.- Burntrubber
