We\'re getting 12\" of snow today, Perhaps I\'ll take the Viper out...
And street race naked until I get pulled over! Sorry, I think the Viper deprivation's getting to me... :D
I also have suffered from idle hang, mine started when I put my Roe blower on last November. Yes, I put on the 70mm TB's. Since Phoenix's original post I've synch'd my TB's and it has made nice improvements especially during low speed (parking garage style) driving. BUT, when my car get's warm...
My favorite rental car story is the opening scene in "Jackass the movie", now that was some funny sh!t... "You've got to pay for the damages sir, it says right here on the contract that you waived the insurance! Yeah, but that's just paperwork..."
I don't know about you guys but when I enagage the skipshift, there's something about the 500rpm lugging at 20mph that just doesn't feel right. I personally hate it and avoid it at all costs (with the rare occasion of getting caught in the rain).

LOL, to funny I sold an 98' M Roadster to get my GTS (Same color too)! Those cars are lots of fun.
It was actually good training for the viper, there's a lot of characteristics in terms of performance that are similar on a smaller scale
of course. I miss that little car sometimes. I won't...
I just spoke to Martin and it is in fact one of their cars, he was out of the office and didn't have much time to talk. I'll find out more when I'm at their shop.

Martin own's that company, I'll see what I can find out. That's the AMS in elk grove that I mentioned earlier! I also believe Martin is looking for a donor Viper to build a twin turbo for. I was at his place in September to let him look at my intake manifold he said he was interested in building...
I have worked with Martin over at AMS in Elk Grove, they specialize in Mitsubishi's. They've got some pretty insane Mitsi's there, the last time I was there he had his AWD EVO8 up to 625 at the wheel! But like with most of those car's his RWTQ is only around 375. It's amazing how much power...
I run my tires at 25psi (corrected for the cold air of course) or perhaps it's the MXX3's but I honestly don't notice that much difference regarding traction, yeah it's a little trickier regarding wheel hop and I break loose a little easier in third. But it's not much more difficult to control...
It really doesn't look that bad, you really lucked outbig time IMHO. The body looks relatively good, if it's just minor body work, some popped screws on the fascia, and a hood alignment consider yourself very lucky. I've see those hoods go for 8K easy. I would guess barring any major damage with...
I forgot how much stronger blown cars run in 30 degree air. Yesterday I took my car for a spin and I nailed it, jeez I swear it feels like I picked up about 25% more power!
P.S. - and yes, I'm running a richer mixture on the Vec2 to compensate...
