    Vipr GTS : notice my comment said in my area..FL is the retirement state...and second I would never make a reference about age in regards to driving/owning a viper...WE the collective viper owners are all in a class by ourselves and thats what makes US unique :2tu:

    I'm a manager at a Chevy store and we have 1 2005 Z06 allocated, after that they are 2006 models...Of the 25 or 30 C6's we've sold 98% of the buyers we're guys 55+ in age that drive like, well...um, like they're 55. If you add that to the price of entry (I know we're putting a $10k LOA bump...

    Rear speakers

    Just went through the same thing, ended up putting (2)JL 6" subs in the rear & Polks 6.5" in the doors...was a MAJOR improvement all around...Good luck !!

    A C5 wants to race me in the 1/8

    Was at the track last night having some fun runnin my daily driver (05 SSR) when a friend of a friend who knows I have a GTS challenges me to run him against his 04 C5. Its an auto all stock except for a 150 shot...he put down a 7.93 last night, not bad. I've got 410 hp/450 tq at the wheels...

    Dyno numbers

    Update After only 2 pulls (this was a Mustang club dyno night) it registered 396 hp & 447 tq... Last time I did 3 pulls and there was 9-13 hp/tq increases on eash run so this may not be completely accurate... No a/f measurements but I suspect a rich condition... Any ideas or suggestions...

    Dyno numbers

    A couple of months ago I had my GTS on the dyno with just smooth tubes & filters and the rear muffler delete...403 hp & 443 tq with the a/f way rich. Now I have a complete Random tech 3" exhaust w/high flow cats (no headers) and its going back on the dyno tonight... Any predictions ...

    Added Care vs Max Care Service Contract and 7/70?

    Get the Maxcare, I worked at a Dodge dealer for 3 yrs in Finance & Insurance...big difference is Addedcare is a inclusionary service contract (covers only whats listed), Maxcare is exclusionary (only lists whats NOT covered)... I would only sell Maxcare to Viper owners because of that Good luck

    As my user name implies, just purchased 99 GTS in Blk w/9800 miles... this car makes my previous vettes (4 of em) seem slow...ordered the smooth tubes & filters from Roe, hope that was a good move :2tu: any other advice welcomed !! :D
