Appreciate the post. I know I don't have the patience or ability to repair it myself though.
Are there any dealers in New England that have lots of experience in servicing Vipers?
I don't believe its a defective alarm...I believe its a defective horn. Last nite I was driving in 3td gear doing about 45mph and the thing starts blarring continuously and stopped after about 20 seconds.....how embarrassing! A few miles down the road way it dawned on me how I've actually never...
not sure about your applicable state but I believe locally if the same issue is unsuccessfully addressed within a certain amount of time the car can be returned under the lemon law; i'm no consumer lawyer and don't know the rules in your location but its something to keep in mind esp if she...
Yeah us euro cross over buyers are paying close attention. First the guy with the passenger side door that pops open when it's closed, then my horn getting stuck on, then the guy with the mis aligned door that caused paint damage from the window/door and now a flashing dash and cel for this...
I've read the battery should be good without a tender for up to 30 days without running and hibernation mode, which is also activated thru the steering wheel, buys you about three months without a tender.
You should see a dealer. As mentioned, you are able to see a local one. Keep us posted...
Go on the left of the steering wheel and use the up/down buttons until the person with the stethoscope is highlighted; then press the > arrow and the screen should say "checking for diagnostic codes"
Let us know if any codes are thrown
Re: " The new Viper is exotic and curvy, but the glory days are gone at least by sale
hate the brand dilution and mass production of Porsche esp with the cayenne panamera and boxster having the general "look" as the GTS RS, 911 etc. I think it really ruins it. its a dime a dozen look I see on...
Re: " The new Viper is exotic and curvy, but the glory days are gone at least by sale
Just throwing more horsepower at it isn't going to cut it. there's a bigger value in engineering and in suspension. think of all the new cars that do zero to 60 in two seconds: the McLaren, the GT-R...
I wanna say I had to pay a penalty for changing the order lol all moot now
do u feel the paint looks too much like black when its out of the sunlight? I was worried about that with this order
still, there's a reason they did lots of marketing with the Shadow Blue and both shades of...
Let's face it, this snake is our baby. Things like a passenger door popping open, a horn randomly sounding in the middle of the night or issues like the ones in this thread are really frustrating.
It's up to the factory whether they step up or say take it up with the dealer. Can give an...
as a consumer you have the right to choose a different dealership if you're not satisfied with your current one.
This is why When my horn started sounding in the middle of the night I didn't bring it in and instead had SRT engineers contacted so it stays as a factory issue without dealer...
thnx. I actually amended the order to add in the Mpoar cover as I didn't realize it was an option at 1st go.
Stryker logo in front is cool but I wanna get one with a bigger logo, also want "viper" written on the tail of the cover. Gonna inquire with California car cover and see if they can...
Re: " The new Viper is exotic and curvy, but the glory days are gone at least by sale
Woah. Any idea what their invoice was?
My guess has been 120-125k right along
Re: " The new Viper is exotic and curvy, but the glory days are gone at least by sale
No baby viper!! I'd sell my car in a NY second! And I planned on getting the gallardo successor but if the build the urus, I might not.
Nine Ball is on point with CPO exotics. It's a big factor. I sold my...
Re: " The new Viper is exotic and curvy, but the glory days are gone at least by sale
where did u see lists on GTS models with $10k off? With the exception of two or three dealers that charge MSRP I've only seen very large premiums over sticker on these.
Re: " The new Viper is exotic and curvy, but the glory days are gone at least by sale
totally agree. I thought it looked like a Gen II on steroids which is why I loved it!
Re: " The new Viper is exotic and curvy, but the glory days are gone at least by sale
totally. and as for the critics...remember when they said when a boy teases a girl its not because he hates her but the opposite in elementary school? well......
so even on here when people are...
