    Head Gasket Question

General consensus is to do the gaskets before they fail, and they *ALL* will. Finding someone local will be difficult. Better to drive or ship as far as needed to not get a botched job. When we brought these gaskets to market, they were designed as a permanent fix, especially when done as a...

    stand alone wiring system

You can trace the vast majority of basketcase builds back to giving the car to someone who didnt know what they were doing well enough to avoid using known problematic components. People like me made those mistakes 20 years ago, thats why I wont sell or even be involved with that crap anymore...

Exactly. And the worst part is, that AEM has so many bogus non-descriptive issues that people dont even blame them half the time. "I have this weird timing issue/bogging issue/stutter/cutout/insert your problem here", so I must have a bad tune, sensor, etc... NO, ITS THE FRIGGEN AEM DOING STUPID...

    Hard start when hot

You dont see any codes. Downstream heaters are indirectly tested by function- short circuit will not be seen. Trust me... its your problem. 4.5 ohms is basically a dead short. Thats 20x specification. They dont short to the battery terminal, or even the frame. They short to the sill heat...

This is G3 correct? Downstream O2 sensor wires in the sill on an aftermarket exhaust, 99% of the time. Dead short on heater supply line.

Why would you want those problems? AEM controllers are well-known to be some of the most problematic of the V10 based market offerings. We make crate engine controllers specifically for applications like these, based on OEM hardware, with OEM reliability, or extreme applications with Pectel...

    Hard start when hot

While I have seen it on Gen-2+, its not nearly as prevalent or obvious as with Gen-1 cars. What you describe is far more likely a fuel pressure regulator in the module bleeding off too rapidly and allowing boil-out, and taking time to refill the rails completely.

    Hard start when hot

Check fuel pressure drop-off and boil-out with a gauge. If it tests OK, what you describe is also a symptom of an impending PCM failure. They start to become erratic when the module gets warm. If signs point to that, DO NOT TAKE LIGHTLY. G1 modules fail catastrophically in most cases, and the...

Man, that must have been *really* hard for you to post. My favorite part is where you list me as the 3rd source, under duress... when you know damn well I am the only one on that list who can absolutely, 100%, for sure, supply that module... like all the others. Its almost like you're still...

Car will not start unless fuel pump unplugged first

All it takes is once letting the voltage drop too far and sit over the winter, and the voltage drop-off during cranking is going to be completely different than it was before. Without a high-end controller or specialized logging equipment, you are never going to "see" what its actually doing at...

Car will not start unless fuel pump unplugged first

Battery and/or battery related connections. Crank fueling is both voltage offset and temperature based, and base offset reference and fueling are also pressure based, both fuel and atmospheric. Cranking voltage changes as battery ages. Very few tuners have the ability or knowledge base to...

Just pulled out of storage. This is a complete package removed from a damaged 2004 Viper SRT years ago, and has been in storage since. Everything is there as far as I can tell. This was an 800-1000 horsepower package originally, made by RSI in TX, and was their 800TT/1000TT base if I recall...
