I've had my bad experiences with the Roe. Had the 10lb pulley and later found out the Roe isn't rated to be used with the 10lb pulley. :doh2: If you have a good tune and don't drive it that much you may not have any issues. Anyone ever have the rear window on a gts
Make sure your vents in the rear corners aren't blocked. It will build back pressure when the windows are down and eventually loosen the back glass.- GTSnake

that's good. I don't have tinting so it would make a big difference in heat soak. I had JL Amps but they still got too hot baking in the sun without tint.- GTSnake

Awesome build! I only have a couple comments. I love the sub enclosure. Wish they had shallow subs when I did my car. lol Not sure what purpose those 6.5" speakers are for on the rear shelf are those more for people out side of the car? Stereo guys: Component soundstage question
They're just Panasonic components. But my amp is a JLAudio 500/5 You don't need to spend a fortune on speakers. What counts is how it's tuned. I've heard stock cheap $2.00 paper cone speakers sound awesome. It's up to the tuner and how it's tuned to the vehicle.- GTSnake

As far as rear imaging you really have no choice but building those pods. The speakers are so low high frequencies can't get out. I don't think you'll find very many people putting empahsis on sound. The common quote is "I only hear what's under the hood" or "The only music is the one coming...- GTSnake

The sound stage is decent but if you really want to bring it up you need to make some tweeter pods in the A-pillars. How much to repaint a GTS a different color?
