Don't hold your breath. I was the original guinea pig that showed a 10 rwhp gain when I bought the proto Vipair. A club member witnessed the dyno run and he ended up getting a free one while I paid $300 for mine. Go figure. :dunno:
Make sure the powder coater is very familiar with doing magnesium. Some colors go on smoother than others. You don't want to end up with waves or bubbles from outgassing.
Second, I hope you like cleaning your engine because you'll be doing it all the time.
It's what the market will bear. Simple economics. If the demand is higher for Gen II then prices will be higher.

Does it crank but not very fast? Have you tried jump starting it?
It's because the local people and cops are plain tired of all the traffic. I know a guy that lives near there and he hates the summer when hoards of road tourists gather at the dragon. It costs the county lots of money to rescue injured crashers and sometimes bring out the medical chopper to...
Just spray a little WD40 around that area and you'll have minimal sticking.
One side note is don't put rain ex on your side windows before you go to the track. If you do when they write on it with shoe polish it doesn't stick and it flakes all over the place. You'll never be able to clean up...
