Slight driveline vibration after trans. swap.
No play at all in the yoke. I put one hose clamp on, drove it 4 times with it indexed 4×90 aligned with the u-joint ears. The #2 was maybe a tad better, but not significant. Seems to synch with rear tires in 4th gear a bit, and they need balancing.- GTS Dean

I had a bad synchro or blocker ring in 3rd gear, so I swapped in a known good transmission, put some new u-joint straps on and went for a spin. DRB III
I'll have to check which ones mine came with but it was one heck of a buy. God mine is S-L-O-W! I'm guessing it has more to do with the JTEC bus speed than the DRB, but it pains me every time I plug it in. Gen1 Roe Exhaust Question
Cats are bi-directional. I would recommend Moroso Spiral Flow mufflers. They come in 2.5 and 3.0 inch diameters. Very nice low rumble, not raspy or loud. Do you have side, or rear exhaust?- GTS Dean

You typically want them very near the primaries. The G1 & 2 cars had them in the front of the sills, just where the turnouts went parallel to the centerline.- GTS Dean

Hood (bonnett) pins? You have to find a relatively level, flat area on the inner fender well. You will need access to the bottom to spin the locknuts for height adjustment. Yes, the casting number can be decoded for date of manufacture. If the VIN matches, the door tag can tell you within 2 days of when the motor went in the car.- GTS Dean

If you register in a county that is "Non-Attainment" for Ozone, they will still test you after the safety inspections go away. DC Performance in LA has been building high HP Vipers that meet strict CARB limits. A phone call would be a good Idea...- GTS Dean

Slide the body into a lathe chuck and snug it down. Place a stiff round rod thru the clevis to stop the fork from rotating. That should unscrew it easily.- GTS Dean
