I've been lifting weights since i've been 16 ... 44 now ... it's that the damn top is ******* huge and not exactly light (i'm 5'7, so maybe if you're like 6'5 it's easier to do)- efnfast

I would sooner chop off my testicles than have to install the single piece hardtop - that thing is such an unwieldy SOB without 2 people. And even then it's no fun. I really like the Lemke 3 piece top because it's sooooooo easy to install, but of course they almost never come up for sale and...- efnfast

CPU Communication with Gen 2 GTS
What do you mean by a Roe CPU? Do you mean a piggy-back VEC2/3 or a stock ECU that ROE tuned? It sounds like the later .... if they tuned it then presumably you arn't stock so you should go to a dyno to be dyno tuned with something modern like HP Tuners. I prefer my gen 4 over 5 in pretty much all categories .... if I could only have 1, gen 4 for me. Low fuel pressure on start
Evil Energy is amazon chineseium crap Get rid of that hose and fittings unless you want a potential fire hazard on your hands and use Aeroquip ... the chinesium and value brand fuel stuff will work for a little while, then start leaking/weeping, whereas Aeroquip will go 25+ yrs without a hitch...- efnfast

Anyone have Oil Filters??
No they won't - they'll just stick them in their inventory like every other vendor. Case in point - I bought a new radiator from a very well known Viper vendor. As a point of practice I always rinse out radiators. This ****** started puking out chunks of metal when I ran him under the faucet...- efnfast

I would put a pressure tester on it and see if there is a leak - i don't know how you just develop a blockage in the lines to the point where it all of a sudden starts pushing out coolant unless a hose collapsed or something really bad just went through your coolant system With respect to...- efnfast

I can't believe that in spite of my vigorous sucking off the OEM filter it finally let me down. I opened up my nice brand new OEM filter and found metal machining junk stuck between the plastic protective cap and the oil holes in the filter. After shaking out the debris I **'d and hum'd...- efnfast

Buying Gen 3 with 8 prior owners?

How do I get a feel for a Viper before I commit to buying?
