I'm cleaning out my basement and had to move my hardtop around that I've just left sitting against a wall ever since I bought the car.

I forgot how heavy/awkward that SOB is .... why did Dodge even bother making that piece - it's not practical to install/remove by yourself, and even with 2 people it's a chore at best. And you can't carry it with you if you need it. And if you think you might need it that day, it's probably easier/better to just take another car.

At least the Lemke 3 piece top is easy to install. And at least a Diablo roadster's top is carbon fiber and can be stored on the back of the car.

Since Dodge was trying to penny pinch on Vipers I don't get their logic of making the top?

OK, I install mine by myself.
Three point hoist in the garage roof, easy and safe.
3 line pulley on all points.
One hand to guide and one on the ropes. Yes it is heavy!!!

I store mine garage with large ladder hooks with insulated tubing on them and across the front over a bungee cord. Not a problem lifting it off n placing close to the attachment points then adjust n complete with install pins
