Hello,

I am a former Cobra 427 owner who have always wanted a Viper, and recently found one that was coming out of 24 year storage at an estate auction. The former owner was a noted hot rodder who wrote for Hot Rod magazine and there were 8 vehicles in his collection, including this 1993 RT/10 with 8,500 +/- miles on it. I purchased it site unseen and the Trustee of the estate only listed that it was 800 hp. I thought "well that is silly," and took the plunge. Now I am the owner of something I am not qualified to own! After some research it turns out to be a T-N-T Motorsports tune which were purported to have 777 hp. By research I should say the G-force, ********* rumple, headers, signed underside of the hood and T-N-T Motorsport floor mats. It is set up for track day with the buble hard top & side windows from Autoform, 5 point driver harness, fire exstinguisher and 17" OZ Racing FITTIPALDI 3 Piece racing rims. and quick release fire extinquisher. Car and Driver articles discuss that suppsension modifications were also part of T-N-T's package, howver I don't know any of that yet. However, the auction house has since discovered the paperwork for HISSSS (it's name given by the state of MI plate that came with the vehicle), which I will pick up on Monday. Hopefully include the original T-N-T tune data and other provance. The tires were flat spotted from sitting, so I replaced them with Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 (20 miles driven since then) with a transferable Discont Tire road hazzard warranty.

I have an appointment set on June 24th with an auto consignment house where they will list it for $75,000 including their 10% commission. I would prefer to sell it directly to an enthusiast on the forum, if there is any interest. Price is negotiable. Let me know if you have interest in HISSSS!

Looks great! I'm sure it's fun and supper fast. Do you have any documaton that it is a King Snake? TNT had a number of Viper packages. I don't think they build a 777hp King Snake until the 2nd generation vipers came out.

They have a unique intake manifold that looks very different from yours

Just curious, what do they change that they are able to get that many Ponies out of an N/A Motor especially where that car started off at 400 HP.?

I will pick up the documentation Monday evening from the estate and post what is in the binder. I can confirm that it has the most aggressive cam in it that I've personally been around. My Cobra had a 428 with a stage 2 cam and dual 650 double pumpers and was tame compared to HISSSS.
Hopefully somebody from the Detroit Viper club will recognize the car and be able to fill in some of the information?! The keychain identifies that the owner was a member and it has a very distinctive license plate...
