    Sweet, you got a convertible! They have the most power, so it shouldn't matter what rpm's you shift at. The torque curve wasn't a curve at all on the convertibles, it was a flat line. I'm not sure why they don't call it a torque flat line then? They still call it a 'curve'? Perhaps 'torque...

    As Craig mentioned, there is that black and silver ACR in Whitby, and then there is also a Red with (I believe) silver stripes ACR here in Brooklin (just north of Whitby), and another blue with white stripes GTS that drives by my house almost daily.     Should I be worried

    Make sure to tell him the engine goes in the front. It'll take him years trying to find drivetrain components and you won't have to worry about racing him. I wouldn't be too concerned if I were you. I can't imagine many VW Beetles short of the love bug himself could beat a viper on a dragstrip...

    Oh, my mind is so far beneath the gutter it's not funny! It's in, like, the cesspool scum runoff of the gutter. I strive to get it to gutter status one day, then work my way to respectable and even, heaven forbid, decency. One step at a time though.

    The guy was obviously not a big car enthusiast. I'd have left you the Vette and my wife and kept the Viper. Actually, you could have had my 3 kids too. Honestly though, that is a really good thing you did for that guy and he's got a great story to tell his friends now too! Mike T.
