    Hardtop Identification - Please Help

    They are tough to find.....if you do find one, make sure it's for a Gen1 because there are Gen2 3 piece roofs out there. Mine was a mess.....fortunately I had a great fiberglass guy and knew someone with a CNC machine to manufacture the plastic parts that were broken.

    Yes.....pad needs to come off. You will also need to remove the pins that hold the pad in place. They come off with a flathead screwdriver. Pins in front look correct, unless roof is made for a Gen2. The separation between the pins are a little different.

    If anyone has the 3 piece roof with windows (Gen1) they are interested in selling, I may be interested. I also have the double bubble top for a Gen1/Gen2 if trading is an option. (Not sure I want to let it go though)

    It's an epoxy based floor. Not suppose to have hot tire pickup or peal. I've had it for 2 years now and love the floor. Installed by Granite Floors. From what I understand, they grind floor, put base coat down, then the flakes and then clear coat.

    Can you use a battery charger rather than a battery tender initially?? I need to put a better charge on the battery. I believe that's where I hooked it up. Maybe the ground was wrong, but I also tried grounding to the engine. Why the flashers?? I don't get it.

    This has to be an easy question, but I'm not figuring this out. I'm trying to charge my battery without taking the back wheel off the car. When I try hooking the charger to the positive cable in the engine compartment and ground to hinge for the hood, the flashers start flashing. What's up with...

    I would have bid more, but dspan, you never responded to my pm asking if this was a Gen 1 or Gen 2 roof. I'm assuming it's a Gen 1 with the windows, but Mach 7 says Gen 1 will not work with Gen 2 per my previous discussions with them. You mentioned this would work with both??? Good luck...
