Yes I noticed the optimal operating temperature seems to be around 190. The fan kicks in a little above 200 for mine. Stop and go traffic will make the car run pretty hot, there is even a note of it in the owners manual saying the car is not designed for stop and go traffic. At low RPM the car...- ViperVass

trunk lid wont stay up
Have the same issue, still deciding if I care enough to get it fixed. What part wears out in these struts? I thought it was some sort of gas, can it not be refilled?- ViperVass

Is VCA not the right place for WA viper owners ?
SearchIds seem not to be shareable across accounts unfortunately. What were your search terms ? I looked for oil change but did not find anything really useful. I did find a video for a GEN5 oil change. Not sure how that maps to a GEN2.- ViperVass

Mystery battery death solved!
Have you verified that it has been solved by measuring the current draw on your battery ? My approach would have been: Put a multi meter between the GND terminal of the battery and start pulling fuses until you see a significant current drop. If you suspect it is your terminals try taking one...- ViperVass

Is VCA not the right place for WA viper owners ?
I see the last post on here is from 2013.... Where are all the WA Viper owners ? VOA ? Hopefully someone can tell me where to go to get maintenance work done for my Viper. I recently got a B/W 97 GTS and joined VCA. So, hello everyone :) After driving for the first few days I loved the car, but did not like the OEM head unit.
