I use OEM gaskets on all of my header installs. You just can't beat their quality over the ones that come with the headers. That's the only recommendation I have.
I have experienced this on other vehicles. One of two things can take care of this issue. The first would be o2 spacers on the rear o2 sensors similar to these:

I had a low mileage 04 Viper in the shop that had a bad blower motor. Could also be a resistor but usually the high speed will still work when the resistor is bad.
this is great advice. The gen2 lifters are a slow bleed design and are significantly quieter than the gen3 lifters. The heavier weight oil will lessen the noise as well if you'd prefer to not tear the car apart.
Side curtains deploy from the roof / pillar area. The front side seat air bags will come from the side bolster area of the seat. The curtain is designed to essentially cover the window area while the seat bolster air bag is designed to protect in the door panel area. I hope this helps.
