I own a 2004 SRT-10 that i recently purchased. when driving the car i noticed when i have the car in any gear and i reach a somewhat low RPM (say 1500), and i let my foot on and off the gas i hear a clanking coming from either the transfer case, the rear end or something in the transmission somewhere. I'm not sure if this is normal or not. the car performs well otherwise and it has only 4500 miles on it. thoughts? suggestions?

the mention of the "standard "back lash" thate exists in our diffs" strikes me as what is happening. do you have this same issue with yours? BTW - I'm a first time viper owner (one week and counting) so, i dont know what's normal... thanks!
