ViperExchange.com to Produce Live Webcast from Paddock at Circuit of The America's Next Friday

Behind-the-Scenes Look at No. 33 ViperExchange.com Dodge Viper GT3-R Team during IMSA TUDOR United SportsCar Race Weekend

AUSTIN, Texas (Sept. 13, 2014) - Continuing for the second time this season its effort to bring the loyal Viper audience behind the scenes of the IMSA TUDOR United SportsCar Championship, ViperExchange.com is launching another edition of “Behind the Coil: LIVE!” from Circuit of The Americas (COTA) this Friday, September 19 at 1 p.m. CDT.

Part of ViperExchange.com’s “Behind the Coil” content series, the team will be hosting a live, paddock-side webcast on Friday afternoon in advance of Saturday’s IMSA TUDOR United SportsCar Championship race on the world-class COTA circuit.

For any fans of either the Dodge Viper SRT or simply the IMSA TUDOR Championship, this is the perfect opportunity to go directly inside the team’s paddock, interact with ViperExchange.com drivers Ben Keating and Jeroen Bleekemolen, as well as ask any questions of both drivers and the crew.

The webcast will begin on Saturday at 1 p.m. CDT (2 p.m. EDT and 11 a.m. PDR) and continue on for one hour. Fans can join in by visiting either www.ViperExchange.com, or by downloading the Ustream app for smartphones or tablets and searching for “ViperExchange.”

Fans will not only have their questions answered live visiting the stream, but the ViperExchange.com team will also be giving away numerous hats, shirts, and other giveaway items throughout the webcast.

For Keating, driver of the GT Daytona (GTD) class No. 33 ViperExchange.com Dodge Viper SRT GT3-R, the opportunity to explain the complexities of his machine to a loyal audience is a welcome one.

“We’re very excited to once again bring this to opportunity to our loyal fans and Viper owners,” said Keating, a defending IMSA class race winner at COTA. “Our first attempt at this just last month at Road America was a successful launch, and we’re very excited to give our fans yet another a chance to look up close at the car and to answer any questions. We had a blast the first time and it should be even more fun going live from our home state of Texas.”

Both Keating and ViperExchange.com – the world’s largest Viper retailer – are based in Southeastern Texas in the greater Houston community of Tomball, Texas. The COTA track in Austin is as close to home as any track on the tour. Even better, Keating knows how it feels to win there.

“I’m hoping for home track advantage at COTA,” Keating said. “I won there last year in the American Le Mans Series GTC class and I’m excited about going back there. It’s a place I feel I know pretty well and I am looking forward to racing there again.”

Fans can also check out all of the “Behind the Coil” videos at ViperExchange.com, including the latest in the series that focuses on the importance of differentials, and what they can do for driving both on the track and the street.”

The upcoming COTA race event is a Saturday doubleheader with the World Endurance Championship (WEC) on September 20. The IMSA TUDOR Championship race is scheduled to start at 11:35 a.m. CDT and can be seen in same-day coverage on FOX Sports 1 at 4 p.m. EDT/1 p.m. PDT.
