Hi Guys, my first post here.

Anybody with an 06 Roadster that has bought an aftermarket hardtop?

Wondering about how long it takes to change the tops out and what the wind drag/noise is like. Any leakage?

ps. plus a shameless pic of my two babies....

The Autoform top is quite nice and you can get it through them directly or through JonB at PartsRack(the best prices and most knowledgeable person you can buy Viper parts from)

Does the hardtop weigh the car down? Is it more aerodynamic with the hardtop on?
Would one have to remove all the convertible components, or is the hardtop something that snaps on?

Thanks for the response, but, I have a few questions.

You said the hardtop does not weigh the car down. How is that if you are not removing anything from the car, rather, adding a component to it? Have you or anyone else weighed the hardtop?

Also, do you know by how much the cd is reduced? I believe it is .39 with the soft top on.

Thanks in advance.

No one can answer the coefficient of drag question as neither Autoform nor Vipermania can afford to do that type of testing. I can say that the car is more stable at high speed with the autoform top in place than with the convertible top up. The top weighs about 35 - 40 #'s as a guess, but I can remove and replace it by myself. In case you plan on tracking your car at Viper Days the Autoform top is the only one approved for use at their events.

I saw a new CF top design posted here a few months ago ... it looked really good ... don't know what happened with it though.

Go Autoform.

Viper Days approved.

Stays on and quiet up to 165 mph (will test it higher this year and let you know).
