Can anyone tell me how do I remove the sport bar covers from my SRT-10? It appears that they are metal (under the padded covers) and I want to see what I can do with them, If I can get the covers off.

Pull seats forward. Pop off the Viper cover on the rear bulkhead. You will find 2 14mm black bolts on each side. Remove both bolts and pull straight up on the hoop. Just takes minutes. The cover is not just slipped over it.

If you strip the pads off of the bars you will find they are made of aluminum and have quite a few holes in them. The finish is quite lousy too.

Thanks. I'll take them off and check them out but I was wondering why I have not others without the pads...holes & lousy finish would explain it!
