How consistent are the stock rocker arm ratios / valve spring pressures?
One particular Machinest's class optimized a Viper's valvetrain by finding matching factory components. Their measurements showed the stock, stamped-steel rocker arm ratios varied from 1.54:1 to 1.61:1. Valve spring pressures ranged 10 to 12% of the nominal value.
