RT/10 foot well sub box measurements?
i did the footwell sub thing. have a box made (mdf, not fibeglass just for cost reasons).. i used a 8" diamond audio dual voice coil sub. only needs like .8 cu ft. (or something close to that) of space.. so. that's what i went with. Powered it with a alpine 500w x 1 amp. Also did the alpine...- Backdoc7

guys buying 1998 gts viper thursday flying to Florida from NJ
they are right, drive it back! i bought mine in scottsdale, az and drove back to the l.a. area.. only 5-6 hrs.. but.. i'll never forget that 5-6 hrs. dr. b.- Backdoc7

Chrome the stock ACR rims ?
i have BBS's on my 95. i chromed them a couple of years ago and would do it again. It is sub jective as to looks, but they are easier to keep clean no doubt. Dr. Bill.- Backdoc7

Sound System in the Viper.
yeah.. the diamond audio 8" is a dual voice coil driver.. so. i wanted a big amp to make sure there wasn't a problem with power.. the alpine type "x"'s are pretty sweet also.. maybe over kill for the viper since it's a noisy car anyways.. mostly i think the sound needs to be loud. not...- Backdoc7

I did the stereo in my rt/10 and i think it sounds pretty good. i went with alpine stuff since that's what came with the car. i don't have the model numbers memorized but if you want them.. i can get them off the car.. i went with a higher end head unit (9310 i think). that plays mp3's and i...- Backdoc7

You don't have to be in the weeds.. i know what you mean though.. i have eibach pro's on mine and it does scrap a bit.. usually it's only the speed bumps that get it. ***** when it happends. Just go and inch or so.. will make a big difference. Dr. B.- Backdoc7

Carmel, CA..... What would Viper life be like there?
Dave, damn.. newport, maui, carmel.. you have a hard life! Carmel is awesome.. never lived there but have some family there.. my sister lived there for 3 years.. Edward might be right.. Im sure it's a little slower paced but I can't think of anywhere i'd rather live. It's beautiful as hell...- Backdoc7

Different tires on front and back?
Im running pilot sports on the front and V700's on the rear. i think the combo works pretty good. the kumho's sure stick like H*ll! Can't see running pilot sports on the rear anytime soon. the kumho's are too much fun to have on the back.- Backdoc7
