Fiat Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne, Turnaround Artist and Iconoclast, Dies at 66-News from Jalopnik

If Mike Manley remains as CEO, it will be interesting to see the direction the company will take under his leadership. I don’t know much about him.

Motor Trend says 2013 will have the 6.4 V8

I don't entirely discount the possibility of a V8 being offered for the Viper in the future. A V8 Viper could be produced with high HP numbers wile offering a more cost efficient package. Don't believe it? Have a look at the Ferrari line up or look no farther than the success of the ZR1...

    Hoodliner done!

The Viper is done very well. What could be more appropriate for a Mamba than a Mamba? It is one of the most wicked looking snakes on the planet. Great job! The "Jake" on the Corvette is well done also, but, skulls and such don't do a great deal for me. Overall, it's a job well done.

    Painted bulkhead on a SRT-10

Great job Kllymartin! A very tastefully executed interior. The painted bulkhead also looks nice and is reminiscent of a Corvette convertible interior.

Chrysler states I do not own my car!!

If he turns in the car without compensation he is out his investment in the car. On top of that, the original owner is off the hook for his debt to CFC. I don't see this as a viable option for the OP. It is a poor state of affairs that will likely have to be sorted out in court.

    Whats it worth

Any car is worth what someone is willing to pay. There is always some less informed person who will see that nearly new '03 as a good buy. You just have to get the exposure to find them. The '06 Viper purchased for $50K above was purchased by a Chicago dealer and is back on the bay for $60K...

    Gen V Viper Logo pics...

The Inland Tiapan is an Australian viper and is deadly. Neither the Mamba nor the Cobra were American species so, I suppose those were problematic for you also. Viper...American muscle car? That is true to an extent, but I think that it is much more than simply a muscle car and the gen V should...

    Gen V Viper Logo pics...

The logo does have an somewhat Asian appearance and is more vicious looking than previous logos. For a name, how about Tiapan? The Tiapan is the most venomous snake on earth.

Could this be our next Viper?

If Chrysler would freshen up the front end a bit, install a strong Hemi V8, and give it another name, the Firepower might be good competition for the Chevy Corvette. It would depend on if it could be brought to market in the right price bracket. To my eye, the Firepower has some appealing Aston...

    Striping for silver 2003 SRT-10 - Questions

+1 on the graphite stripes. A subtle and classy look. GTS blue would make a good second choice.

They aren't making many Vettes either....

Remember that those are production totals not sold units. There are still thousands unsold on dealer lots just as there are many Vipers that remain unsold. Many dealers are hanging on to inventory rather than adjusting to the soft market in hopes of making a good profit or not depressing the...

They aren't making many Vettes either....

No doubt that uncertain economic conditions have made many prospective buyers rethink their priorities. The Corvette design has just about run it's course and most people who want one already have one as prices have been depressed. In the case of the Corvette Z06 decline in sales, it might be...
