    Viper Days Spring Mountain pic

My GF is making me post this :o I know the two Z06 drivers at this event. The blue one ran a 1:49 which I think was the fastest in the White run group (correct me if I'm wrong as I haven't check the VD website). Not sure what the black Z06 ran but I think it was mid-low 50s. Of course...

    Bleeding brakes???

I have an 01 GTS with ABS and the same bleeder fits, part #SB1010S. Coincidently, the same bleeder fits my Porshce as well. I've used the Motive Bleeder on my Porshce and Honda. While it works well, I find myself using the Speedbleeders more often because it is easier (no setup), and I don't...

    Help... front brake piston stuck

I think I remember one of my friends (Dearing) telling me to hold one piston while pushing the other back in... Now I know why :(

    Help... front brake piston stuck

No insult taken... I **** as a mechanic. But I have changed pads before on all three of my cars with no problems. I just goofed by letting one of the pistons hyper-extend. I tried opening the bleeder valve to push it back in, but it didn't budge. I didn't try rotating the piston. How do you...

Battery replaced by Dealer under warranty

My battery ('01 GTS) had died from not being driven enough. I bought a Battery Tender and tried to charge it. After a week it didn't work, so I called DC Roadside assitance. They jump started the car and I dropped it off at the Dealer. The Dealer checked it out and replaced the battery...

    Help... front brake piston stuck

I was changing the front brake pads this morning and I accidently over-extended one of the pistons when depressing the other. Now it is stuck. How do I correct this? Do I need to take off the caliper? I've changed front pads before, but this is the first time I've gotten the piston stuck :(...

Part numbers for Speedbleeders, 2001 GTS

I'm pretty sure it is the SB1010S, a total of 6 (4 front, 2 rear), same for front and rear, and the part # is the same for all Vipers when I called them (but confirm with them on the phone as I ordered for a 98, vs. your ABS 01). As a side note, one of my rubber caps from them came off at some...

Part numbers for Speedbleeders, 2001 GTS

I have the Motive Power Bleeder (MPB). I've used it on the Honda and Porsche. It's easy on the Porsche because they make a specific cap to fit the resevoir. However, on the Honda and Viper you have to use this silly universal "clamp-on" cap that often leaks unless you get it tightened just...
