How do the Kumhos compare to the Cups and the Hoosiers ? They have a treadwear rating of 50. From that you would assume they would slot between the Hoosiers and the Cups. My track wheels are 17" and I don't think Michelin has the sizes for those wheels.

1. Why does the Tech think the rotors need to be replaced? Assuming the same type of use then the longevity will be the same for the same type of mettalurgy, cooling, thickness of rotor that you will use as a replacement. Improve those 3 and longevity also...

Doc, why do you think the tires have lost some grip ? With less tread it should actually be better. Tire temp, tire pressure, track conditions are also factors. I don't have the Sports but the MXXX are good once I get rid of the old hard rubber on the surface.

C5-Rs were lapping more than 5 seconds faster then the Vipers on the fast laps. Add another 2 seconds for the Ferraris. That's way too much speed and no chance of overtaking unless they encounter mechanical problems.

Paulo, my experience with an aftermarket rear caliper (Wilwood Dynalite) was a spongy, long travel brake pedal. I got the MC from Roe Racing but you can get aftermarket pieces from Tilton, Baer, etc.
