I've been here on the forum for more than 10 years, after purchasing a '94 RT/10 in 2002.
I've learned a lot by all you folks posting your knowledge about the Viper.
Sadly the Viper got wrecked on a highway in Germany. I sold the car to a friend who's going to rebuild it.
I will now be saving...
Couple of weeks ago I had a trackday on the Nurburgring.
A friend made this video from inside his car.
He has been a marshall on the Ring, so he is very familiar withe the track, but his car is half the power of teh Viper. So I did not go full throttle in this vid...
Last sunday I had my last Dutch Time Atack with the Viper. Because of the poor weather only 15 cars showed up in the Pro Street Class. Luckely there was a little sunshine in the finals and I went for my fastest lap. It was not my best time ever on this circuit (+ 1.8 seconds), but enough to win...
The Zakspeed Viper GTS will no longer be used as a taxi on the Nurburgring. The Viperjet will be replaced by an Aston Martin.:bonker:
Luckely I can drive my own Viper there.
Yesterday I took 3th place in the Dutch Autovisie Time Attack, Pro Street.
Time Attack is racing against the clock. You get a warmup lap, flying lap and an outlap. Just like Formula1 qualifying. In the morning free training, then qualifying and the best 16 did the final.
First place was a 900...
Next Sunday I'll compeed in the Dutch Autovisie Time Attack.
Last year I won my class with a BMW M3. This year the Viper must bring me some luck, because the competition in this class is much bigger.
So I've put on some stripes, just like the M3.
HERE is an onboard video of a Porsche GT3 RS driving on the Nurburg ring in Germany.
At 6:44 you will see a Viper GTS in front of him. It's not a racecar as the Porsche, but the Zakspeed Viperjet, probably with a passenger. See wat happens.
Yesterday we (dutch auto-forum) rented CPZ, the national Dutch track in Zandvoort. There were 3 Vipers, 2 C6 Z06, a Diablo and many other cars. Made a little video compilation from that day.

Last Sunday there was a Time Attack event on the racetrack of Zandvoort. One of the contenders was driving a Viper, witch was the first Viper ever driven on Le Mans. He was driving the car in the Pro Non Street, but his time in Warm-up and wasn't that good, 2:00.222 min. Average speed 128.971...
Yesterday, I went to the famous 13 miles long Nurburgring, to do my first laps on this track. It was raining a little bit. When I arrived at the track, I saw a truck with a damaged Viper on it. The car had Arizona plates with the tag "DOGGY" on it. It was a ACR with ABS.

This is a video of 2 laps on the circuit of Zolder in Belgium. The driver explains the track in Dutch. He is on cold tires and the track is moist. But he still does it under 1 min. 45. My best time on that track is just under 2 minutes...on street tires. :p
Last Wednesday, I got the black...
Belanger headers and 2.5\" HF cats?
I'm installing Belanger headers on my '94 RT/10. It already has the Roe side exhaust with 2.5" high flow cats. The collector on the headers is 3". Should I go now with 3" HF cats?
Thanks
I've done a trackday with the Kumho's (rear only) and the tire pressure was about 36 PSI(cold). When I look at the tire now, it looks like the middle of the tire has worn off more than the edges. Is my tire pressure to high, if so how much must it be?
I was asked for a little article in a dutch tuning magazine (mostly rice...mine is almost stock) and they took the pictures on the track of Assen (known for the Dutch TT superbike). Today I've received some pics.
A while back the comp coupe was invited to race in the DSC on the circuit Zolder in Belgium. He had to start as last, you will see why...

Just got back from a very wet, but famous track in Belgium.
We had rain, hail and some sleet.
It was my first time on this track and have now experience "Eau Rouge"
On the pictures it's look like a slight curve, but first you go downhill, accelerating fast and then go up not seeing the way...
Today there was a 2fast2furious event at our national race track, because of the release of the DVD.
There was also the opportunity to do the 1/4 mile, so I went.
Unfortunately there was a lot of rain and the drag race was cancelled. :(
I did look at all the cars and clubs that where present...
