I just purchased a29 page dealer brochure for the 2000 Dodge Viper. Yes, I know my screen name indicates I have an '02 RT/10 - I sold it and bought an '00 Steel Gray / Silver GTS. I found I seldom drove with the top off and I really like the Gray/Silver combo much better than my red RT/10.
Back to my question... as I was reading through the brochure I came to the engine specifications. The specs say that the 2000 viper has forged pistons. Is this simply a misprint or did any of the 2000 vipers actually have forged piston? Could there have been a mid-year change from forged to cast? It would be cool to find I had forged pistons as I'd really like to go FI in my '00 (build 03/00). I am probably just being delusional though.
By the way, the date on the brochure I have is 11/99.
