08 hood with 06 stripes - Hey Austin

Has anyone Photo shopped an 08 hood with 06 stripes tapered from the hood down through the front bumper just to miss the hood vents? Blue/Silver

I am having a 08 hood installed using the wide 06 stripes. The paint matches great with out blending. If one uses the tapered stripe then the bumper will have to be painted. For me I like the wide stripe so does my painter. It does look much better in person. I love the looks of the 08 hood. I believe the engine will like the hood also.

I should have my Viper by Wednesday. Will post more pics

Hiss, you bought an '08 hood that was already painted blue? How much and where?

Sorry my post may have given that impression. It was just primed. Parts Rack-1395$. Pad and vent screens extra. Pad is ready for shipment but screens will be a few months. Body shop ordered the pad for me-that way no shipping charges.

Local body man is doing painting. As mentioned no problems with paint matching.

WOW that hood looks even more aggressive in person.
