I just wanted to see what you guys thought of my numbers, I was running stock tires that are beginning to hit the wear bars, I just purchased my Viper a few weeks ago, the previous owner installed the Roe S/C himself but never tuned the car, its been running a Sean Roe 6 degree retard base map on blue top injectors at 6.5psi, I have an appointment to drop the car off at Roe Racing this Wednesday for a 10 lb pully, water/****, and possibly larger fuel injectors/resistor/voltage booster. I'm going to try and tune it in with the blue tops but Sean tells me no one has ever tried to run 10psi with water / **** and blue tops before so we'll be blazing new ground. I would think the **** should compensate for the additional 3.5 psi. I also have headers (don't know who makes them) Borla 3" exhaust, the VEC II was running a 6 degree base map, its never been tuned for my car, here are my 2 best runs.

60' 2.134
330 5.501
1/8 8.163
MPH 91.75
1000 10.404
1/4 12.23
MPH 123.50

60' 1.976
330 5.205
1/8 7.770
MPH 97.25
1000 9.994
1/4 11.836
MPH 120.85

Run #2 I ran a much better E.T. and I was 6MPH quicker by the 1/8th mile before I screwed up and missed 3rd gear, my MPH dropped after I missed 3rd, I went to put it into 3rd and wound up grinding the gear (OUCH!!) I then put it back into 3rd and it went in just fine, I think if I would have had a clean run on my 11.8 time I could have run 11.7 @ 126 judging by my 1/8 MPH. Do you think this is a normal ET / MPH for a 6.5psi car? I was told this car made 430rwhp STOCK! I know the car is running pig rich so I hope to be running much stronger next week after my visit to Sean. Also does anyone know who makes these headers? They are individual runners, 12 pieces in all, 10 runners and two collectors. Oh and I reside in Orlando, Florida.. It was hot and humid out, about 90 degrees or so.

I would NOT stay with the blue tops! I don't believe the W/M can compensate for that much. Good thing Sean is taking care of it for you, he'll square ya up

I have not been to the track yet, but I have seen stock Vipers and Z06s run in the 12s. What are you guys running with similar setups? I will be trying mine out for the first time at Atlanta Dragway in a couple of weeks. What are you guys with similar setups running?

Jay what kind of MPH would you expect to see on my given setup? I'm trying to get a feel for where I should be, I think the car has 126 - 127MPH in it with a good pass, does that sound about right for a 6.5 lb pully full exhaust but no roller rockers, etc..

If these are the numbers a viper is running with a Supercharger, give or take three or four miles an hour, how in gods name is a new Z06 trapping 127mph with 500hp? Boggles my mind.

V10TT, I love my Viper. but if I can sell for 60 G's it will be gone, I will def buy another Viper GTS but it will probably undergo a twin turbo conversion.

Nader, Like my timeslips show I was on course for 126MPH pass before I missed a shift. This run was done with Sean Roe's base map, the car has never been tuned.. I'm sure there is timing to pull out and I know the fuel is very rich.. 10.5:1 add to this i was only running 6.5 psi. We'll see the #'s once I get back from Roe Racing with the 10lb pully, tune, ****/water injection, and possibly a upgraded fuel system.. oh, and a set of 335 drag radials :) We should wait and see what the new Z06 runs, R&T's bests were 0-60 in 4.2 sec. and the 1/4 mile in 12.3 sec. @ 116.6 mph when they tested the new ZO6 in this months magazine.

Deffinately look into the TT's man, saw a pump gas TT viper going 130's with non-drag racer's behind the wheel. And only on 4-5lbs of boost.
