Anyone Know Where I Can Get The Steering Wheel Reupholstered?

My steering wheels is so worn that it is not very good looking. I have only 9000 Miles on the car and this is happening. What a pain. The shift knob is doing the same thing. Anyone know where I can get this fixed?

You must do some white knuckle driving. I've got 75K and the wheel still looks good.

I do not do ANYTHING out of the ordinary. I just think I got a bad wheel. I drive normally and do not grab tight or slide across the steering wheels. It is VERY weird.

warranty.. take it in and let DC replace them...
just had my drivers seatback replaced for early wear at 8k miles

Dear Jim:

Where did you get this done? How do I go about doing that? Does my warranty cover that? I just have the basic warranty that came with the car. It is the 3yr/36K Bumper to Bumper and 7/70K Powertrain. Also having a problem with the wheels. The chrome seems to be peeling. Can they take care of that too? I think I got a "problem" car. LOL!

Jim's da man! Warranty!!! Had my Durango's steering wheel replaced under warranty for the very same reason...as preventive maintenance, I now drive the D with my knees...

FIrst go with Jim's suggestion, warranty. Then go see Chad at Snakehydes. He did mine, looks awesome!

I bought a replacement for mine on ebay. Very nice, look's new. I think I only paid $150 or so and I sold the old one for $70 or so. I can't remember exactly.

Mine was all cracked and worn. Of course it had been there for over 100k miles.

Get an aftermarket shifter. MGW short one is what I have.
