I have a 2000 OEM exhaust system. The clamps that connect the exhaust to the header have a bolt in them that looks like a T. I'm missing one and the dealer says only sold as a total clamp replacement, about $40. Isn't there a way to find just the bolt?

Find a longer bolt and use a few washers under the head to extend the hex head to where you can hold it with a regular open end wrench. If it weren't a Viper, you could also bend the longer bolt to an L-shape at the head so it wouldn't spin. But I didn't say that... I just put these on my '94 and I don't think you'll find them at Home Depot. :(
