Anyone have any experience with these in their Vipers? Good life out of them? Where to find them and what is a good price (if there is such a thing)?
Thanks

I assume you are eferring to a Carbon/Carbon clutch??? If so, here are some of the basics on them:

-They require a warm-up period before they can grip very well, but unlike other clutch types, they grip BETTER as they get hotter
-Very durable
-VERY expensive (for the most part)
-Price is negligable due to these being "rebuildable", and are not a replacement item when they wear out. the Pucks can be replaced, without doing the WHOLE thing.
-Due to less grip in the cool phase, these clutces can still be streetable.

If you are talking about a carbon carbon racing clutch what Fnal GTS said is correct. The cost is offset by the fact that they last alot longer than other types, they are much lighter, and they do not require a friction surface on the flywheel. This means you can use an extremely light flywheel, alot lighter than an aluminum one. The downside is that you will not be able to let out on it gradualy.

Yes Larry...The price seems very reasonable. Any experience with the guys you listed. $1000 for the whole set-up sounds great...if it's a good product.
