Clutch Pedal Lowering Link - Who has installed it?

I ordered this kit... but this morning when I went to install it, it appears to be the exact same link as I am expected to remove.

There are a few small mods from the previous owner on the car, is it possible that they have already done this?

The length of the links are the same... Don't want to go through the hassle if it has already been done.

I have installed the kit, and it does make a difference. The aluminum square-stock link is only slightly shorter than the original. If the existing one is in fact the same length, I would assume the mod was done by a previous owner. After the install, my clutch and brake pedal were roughly even in height.

I did it also. Thought same thing gotta compare the distance between the holes on link.

I did compare them, and they are exactly the same length. The PO must have already installed it...

Anyone need this kit??
