Hi all I am new to the site but have a queery. My clutch release bearing (hydraulic) has the number 05057518AA but all the dealers say between 2002 and 2010 the number should be 05037357AB has anyone got any ideas as to what mine is.

From what I see in 2006 the part number was 05037357AA was revised to 05037357AB but I can't find with my sources the number that is on yours.
This what a 05037357AB looks like. I replaced mine at 20000 km when we changed clutch and flywheel.

info and pics are great. found more info when I ordered the parts. the 05057518AA release bearing comes up for a ram srt 10 with the 8.3 and the 6 speed, lists for $318 can. The 05037357AB comes up for the viper and lists for over $600 can. they both will work fine unless you have added an after market master and lines. there you will require the 05037357AB

I would only install the 05037357AB, myself unless I knew what the design difference is for the Ram SRT10 part. Why did Dodge specify a different part and pay all the associated costs for for stocking it?

Is the master cylinder the same diameter bore on both vehicles? i.e., with the different slave cylinder, does the system make the same pressure and move the throwout bearing the same amount of fluid for the same pedal travel ? Will the clutch disengage adequately after 20,000 miles of wear ?

I see my local Dodge dealer listing the OEM part wit an internet price of under $300. It doesn't list the part # though

edit: VPA lists
05037357AB for the same price.
