Great idea!! but God...who did you website.

One thing to remember that you have to own the car 100% or you can not ship it. I'll let you know by Dec if we can make it. Also what if I would want to stay two more weeks?

Viper Days is proud to bring you a Grand European Adventure.

The founders of Viper Days have put together a vacation to remember- you can be certain that no effort has been spared to make this the “Trip of a Lifetime”.

Viper Days will arrange for your car to be shipped to Europe from Baltimore, and then transported to the starting point of the tour - where you and your wife or friend will fly in to meet up with your car for the beginning of this epic 12 day trip, starting in August 2003 from Cologne, Germany.

Everything has been planned down to the finest detail - accompanying luggage transportation, dedicated travelling security staff, and all the extras you would wish for, making your vacation a truly enjoyable & memorable experience.

Each stopover has been carefully chosen, to allow you time to explore each of the famous old towns and cities. whilst you will be cosseted in lavish hotel accommodation.

Each of the participants will be able to travel at their own pace - keeping in touch at all times via hand-held GPS, which will allow the event representatives to come to your assistance, should it be required.

You will be travelling through some of Europe’s most awe inspiring scenery, experiencing some fine cities, staying in 5* hotels- in Germany, Austria, Switzerland & France. You will have ample opportunity to sample the delights of Castles, Cruises, Restaurants, Museums, Theaters - and of course - the magnificent and challenging Nueburgring Circuit.

Viper Travelers,
There was a concern on the VCA board about shipping a Viper overseas that was not owned outright. We have researched the matter and find that you can in fact ship a lien held car. The procedure is as follows:
Vehicles must be virtually empty of fuel. Just enough to drive a mile
or two. Excess fuel will be (should be) drained and charge will be $72.00 per car. Please make sure your people know not to expect to fill up with cheap gas in US, as it makes the cars HAZARDOUS.

Process-

You will have to give to us very detailed info on provided forms.
Each will have to sign papers for us authorizing us to do the work for
them (power of attorney). We will need owners names, addresses, social security numbers and how bills of lading are to be consigned. We need copies of title and a signed statement of value and origin indicating the owners name and VIN. The exporter must be the owner of the vehicle. We must prepare a "dock receipt" for each vehicle and the owner must have this in 3 copies, the original and 2 copies of the title when they arrive at customs at the pier. They must present the documents and the vehicle to customs at least 3 days prior to export. Customs will stamp the dock receipt "ok to receive" and return it and the original title to the owner. The owner will then drive to the shipping line to deliver the vehicle. (Customs office is located next to shipping line).
Exception to the above Regulations.
Original title must be presented to customs upon arrival at pier. IF title has lien, an original signed letter from the lien holder, on their letterhead, see below for content requirements of the letter. ("Certified" when used with reference to copy means a document issued by an authorized government authority that includes on it a signed statement by the authority that the copy is an authentic copy of the original).
Section 192.2 Requirements for Exportation Basic requirements. A person attempting to export a used self propelled vehicle shall present to customs, at the port of exportation, both the vehicle and the required documentation describing the vehicle to include the VIN or, if the vehicle does not have a VIN, the product identification number (PIN), exportation of a vehicle will be permitted only upon compliance with these requirements, unless the vehicle was entered into the United States under an in-bond procedure, a carnet, a Temporary Importation Bond, or under a personal exemption for non residents who entered the vehicle for a 1 year period. Documentation required. For US titled vehicles, vehicles issued an original certificate of title. For used, self propelled vehicles issued, by any jurisdiction in the USA, a certificate of title or a salvage title that remains in force, the owner must provide to customs the original certificate of title or a certified copy of the certificate of title and two complete copies of the original certificate of tile or the certified copy of the original. Where title evidences third party ownership/claims. If the used, self propelled vehicle is leased or a recorded lien exists in the US in addition to complying with paragraph (b)(1)(i) of this section, the provisional owner must provide to customs a separate writing from the third party in interest, which expressly provides that the subject vehicle may be exported. This writing must be on third party’s letterhead paper and contain a complete description of the vehicle including the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), the name of the owner or lien holder of the leased vehicle, and the telephone numbers at which that owner or lien holder may be contacted and must bear an original signature of the third party and state the date it was signed.
