"Odds of winning are 1 in 27,000,000"

So lets say that 27 cans of DrPepper is about 1 cubic foot.

That means 1 million cubic feet of DrPepper.

Lets say an 18 wheeler is 8x8x50. The volume is 3200 cubic feet.

It takes 312 full 18 wheel trucks to haul 27,000,000 cans of DrPepper.

Your you have to pick one can out of that 312 truckloads to win.

Good luck.

"Instead of the car, he plans to take the 75-thousand dollar cash option and put the money towards a house."

How can people be so stupid?

If all the people on earth were to stand in a big round crowd, each person standing on 2 square feet of ground,

What would the diameter of the circular crowd be?

An enormous number...

But seriously, why would you take 75 bucks, when you could have a Viper that you could sell for 80?

No, not an enormous number.

5 Billion people can with 2 sq ft per person can fit into a circular crowd about 30 miles in diameter.

And if you had an earth globe in your hand that was one foot in diameter,
that 30 mile crowd would be a pinprick about .001"

How about that?

I don't know how stupid he is.
He takes the money and has to pay tax on the cash that he gets.

He takes the car and he has to pay tax on the value of the car. Then he has to pay tax on all the registration rips.
And the car probably isn't really worth as much as they say it is for tax.

So even if he wanted a Viper he might be smarter taking the money and shopping around.

the can actually talks???!?! *** I wonder if they use the same gadget in clear liter bottles...

You know, I was thinking the exact same thing when I first read this thread.
What if the whole thing was set up to be that you can only win one of those Vipers by buying the small cans?
If so, imagine being the poor guy who bought all the clear liter bottles at his local Walmart store... :D

If you have a 27 million to one chance of winning, here's another way to look at it.

At one seconds per can, it would take 312 days to examine 27 million cans of Dr Pepper.
