On average, what would you say the loss is on any (or all) of the Viper generations? For example, a Gen 1 was advertised as 400hp, but what would it have been at the rear wheels? Same question for the Gen 2-4? Curious... Thanks. :)

believe the standard for vipers is 12-15%. Mods like an light weight wheel wheel will lower that number. I read an article where an 04 z06 changed out the clutch and flywheel for lighter weights versions and from 0-150 was 2 seconds quicker then stock.

My previous stock GTS dynoed at 396 rwhp. So from 450 to 396 is a 13.64% loss, if my math is correct. My current GTS dynoed at 447 rwhp, so in theory it is 508HP at the flywheel.

Its hard to say because discrepancies between different models of dynos can more than make up for a wide range of drivetrain losses.

For example. My 99 ACR made 437 RWH(dynojet) with a catback which equals 489 Flywheel HP @ 12% loss. Probably a pretty accurate estimation.

Generally people say for Front engine, RWD, manual tranny cars 12-15%.
