tell me where did i ever say i had that??????????? , however i do think i could find you one. pm me if your really interested and willing to buy asap. we will post your purchase showing the contract with you driving the gen v away at the max $59,900 , you ready?

Sounds good, I put the cash away for a gen5 back at VOI12, been sitting there ever since as I decide what the next toy will be. Been hoping for more headroom or a vert, so cash is no prob, we were at the dealer just this weekend trying on 4 gen5s again for headroom, very frustrating as I want one big time.

So yea, if you have a no stories gen5 under $60k, I could buy it that day with cash. I'd be 98% up for it, just have prove it a no stories car and not damaged or drug mule car, bullet holes, etc, lol. Yellow might kill a deal, but I'd even check on a wrap at that price. Let me know.

The average transaction price for a Gen V is still in the 6 figure range.

Well that thread went to hell quickly.
As a side note, my local dealer has 6 Vipers and I went last week with full intent to trade my car for one of them as the salesman said they are ready to deal. After a joke of a $10K discount of a GTS, they also came back from their word that I could drive one as I needed to make up my mind on GTS versus SRT. They said unless we have a deal on the price, you are not driving our cars...
Seems like SRT has not trained the dealers any more than before to handle higher end clients. I walked off the dealer and went to test drive an F type R coupe (117K sticker, only one on the lot) to cool me down...

I think like all that 50s is too low, maybe low 70s for SRTs. Let's keep this thread open and let's revisit this at Xmas time to see who's right.
By the way congrats on the new snake.
My local dealer finally has 6 in stock and will let me drive one. It will happen next week :). His discount is not high enough compared to Tomball and I really want a carbon edition one but I don't think anyone will deal on it so I will probably have to wait a year or so. Patience is a virtue.
My other thought right now is to buy one and wrap it so if I can find a GTS for $10Xish I may jump the bandwagon.

I'm waiting for my '96 GTS to be worth twice as much as a new GTS so I can trade it in and get two!!

Closing thread, several complaints, no real value to the Gen 5/Viper community is the concensus.
