I may have a line on a good deal for Goodyear brand tires. I wanted to check with you guys (and gals) first to see if it is worth persuing. I know most of us go with Michelin Pilots, what are our thoughts on Goodyear?
Thanks, James.

If you want the best grip and over all best tire, Michelin is the only way to go. They make tires specifically for the Viper C1 on the side wall is for the Viper.

I use Goodyears on my 96 GTS. You have to use two different Eagles to match the sizes. Eagle GSC for the front and GSA for the rear. The GSAs are from the Ferrari F 50 and are very soft and sticky. They worked fine for me.
They lapped much quicker than the stock Michelins from my 96.

Pauls, Thanks. Useful info.
96 R/T, I've got a call in to the dealer. I'll let you know.

18" Pilot Sport Tires may have the C1 on the sidewall.

No 17" Pilot Sport or Pilot MXX3 have a C1 on them.

My first choice would be Michelins and IMO I think BFG's are better than Goodyears. Better grip and lasts longer for me. I have only run the BFG's on vettes and f-bodies no Vipers.
