A few days ago I ordered some HRE 897R rims for my car. I am having trouble finding pictures of other SRT's with these rims. I've seen the one's on Mopar Boys GTS and they look awesome. Does anyone with an SRT model have some pics with them on the car?

Thanks...

Very nice! Looks like you stayed with the 18/19 setup as I did. I really wanted to go with the 19/20 but was concerned about traction problems being worse. Thanks for the pics...

Why would traction be worse with the larger tire setup? I went with 19/20 545Rs and found that it was actually an improvement in ride quality and traction over the stock setup since the 03-06 is so damn heavy. I hated the run flats.

My rear HRE combo is probably 12-15lbs lighter than the stock rear 10 spoke/runflat setup. This make modulating the throttle easier and hard exceleration more controlable.

That is what a reputable Viper specialist vendor from this site told me. I guess because it meant less rubber on the rear? Keep in mind my car has a Paxton...don't know if this makes a difference or not. If this isn't true I will definitely be disappointed because I would have rather gone with the 19/20 setup. Too late now...

Not true, especially if you are running runflats. I have pirellis on the car and 100% happy with them.

19/20s here and Nitto Invo tires. Also have a Paxton and traction is MUCH better than the factory runflat tires.

Is the 20 inch (inside diameter) tire the same height as the 19? Or is there the same amount of rubber on the tire, causing it to actually be taller? It would seem that less rubber would be a harder tire that wouldn't grip as well.

With a 25 profile tire like the pirelli the 20 inch set will actually be about 3/8 shorter than the stock 19 inch setup.
