Was running the NASA Pro Racing's Drivers Challenge this weekend at Morosso speedway in Palm Beach, FL and a BMW M3 took a very nasty crash, which could been avoided.
turn 1, an "S" turn in the middle of long straight away, he slid off the first part of the "S" on to the dirt, no big beal, just let it slide to a stop, right? Nope, he over braked and the car spun around and slid back toward the track sideways, when the car hit the pavement side ways, it immediately rolled, 3 times, then did a 1.5 end over flip and landed on its roof. All this fun started at about 120-130MPH as that is the usual speed going thru that area. The car was destroyed and the driver seem ok, but shaken up.
