Oil ad with Viper

Just posted this in the general discussion area as well.


Someone please help me out here. Within the last few months I saw a full page ad in a car magazine with a Gen II Red Viper with the hood fully open. Ad was for some sort of oil (Valvoline?). Scene was a guy working on the car in his garage.

Anyway, I subscribe is six car mags and buy others occasionally at the newsstand. I meant to cut the ad out and now can't remember where I saw the ad. Anyone else see it?

Notice in the ad the car is referred to as one of "the best things". Now look at what color it is. (hint: not yellow)

It says "one of the best things" when showing a red Viper. If it said "the very best thing" then the Viper would be yellow

Red Vipers are fast. Yellow Vipers are fast. However, notice in the ad that the red car is being worked on. Unfortunately, while red is somewhat fast, they are prone to breakdown. Basically the weaker of the two.

Yellow = Fast, tough and with significant staying power.

As a matter of fact, I think I will. Its hard to soar with eagles (aka red Vipers) when you're surrounded by turkeys (aka yellow Vipers)
