Oil temp sender location?

Am I correct that the sender is located after the pump and upstream of the oil cooler?

Oil temp sensor is located right next to the pressure sending unit, passenger front corner of the block. It is downstream of both the pump and cooler, and reads the temp of the oil after it returns to the block oil galleries after the cooler.
