Personally, and despite some vehement claims by others in this forum to the contrary, I really can't tell any difference in grip between *NEW* PS2's and *NEW* Pilot Sports. Now, if you replace your old PS's with PS2s, there will be a huge difference, but, thats to be expected with tires more than a year or two old - Pilot Sports (and probably PS2's) lose quite a bit of grip as they age; just like any other high performance tire.

However, I note that, at least locally here, PS'2 in the 18" front size (275/35ZR18) are about $10 cheaper per tire than the Pilot Sports, oddly enough ($302 each, for a $684 total including tax, mounting, etc for both).
