There is this muffler shop in my town that always recommends Flowmaster exhausts. They are inexpensive too... But... I looked on the website and I do not see one made for a Dodge Viper.

Does the exhaust have to necessarily be made for the car, or can any muffler with the same size tubing go on the car?

Thanks,
Mike

I think any muffler that has the proper inlet and outlet size would work fine.
You can easily avoid the Viper tax.

I went with Flowmaster's when I had my Y2K FRC vette and it sounded like $hit! If I were you go to a Viper gathering and listen to all the different system's.

I think it would be pretty hard to find space to put two Flowmasters under a Viper. They are pretty bulky!

I think flowmaster makes a one chamber bullet (offroad use only) for sprint cars. That could be interesting.
