Almost impossible. You would hear grinding and the flywheel would have to stop moving forward before it could go backward. Transmission would resist that movement at all cost.

I think the Vipers have reverse lockout. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I can never shift into reverse unless I'm at a standstill.

Yes there are Vipers that can grind reverse while traveling foreward. The 92 and early 93 antenna cars.

no im positive late model vipers have the reverse lockout.

my friend has a 94 and he can engage reverse while moving.
i know my 96 has reverse lockout. not sure about the 95.
