Tonight I ran my car up to 5000 rpm and heard a thud. The steering got heavy and I realized I had thrown a belt.

Sure enough the belt was off and flipped inside out. As I pulled on the belt I heard something hit the ground and I found part of a pulley. It was what was left of the power steering pump pulley. The metal center is still there, but the plastic part is gone.

It's dark outside so i can't see it very well. Is it just a bolt that holds the pulley on? If so any tipos or tricks I need to know about replacing it?
Does anyone know the torque specs

Thanks

Press on, Pull off. You will need a Pulley puller / installer tool. You can get them for around $ 50.00. Just unbolt the pump and tilt upward. You can get the job done without unhooking the lines.
