I was wondering how bad it gets the gas mileage with a Roe type supercharger.
Anybody with real experience ?

What is the gas mileage on highway/city/racing ?

Having this staff installed do I need to own also an 18 wheel tanker ?

I'm running stock 3.07 gears and I get 20 MPG highway and 11 MPG around town.

I get better gas mileage in my Viper than my daily driver Dodge Ram truck.

Keep your foot out of it (off boost) the mpg should remain the same.

I have yet to figure out how to do that! :) I've had about 20% less MPG, but the grin on my face is that much bigger! If it was my daily driver, I might be more concerned about it.

S/C viper 0 mpg 10 fun factor

Honda insite 55mpg 8 fun factor

Reason ---- when a ricer picks on little brother (insite)
Big brother (viper) goes looking and dines well. It must be because they are the same color (red)

10-11 in the city. No long highway trips yet so not sure on highway mpg. Still worth losing 1 mpg for fun factor. sure will be less with hard driving.

Who cares, go fo it! Get a moped if the gas is an issue and drive the Viper on "special" occasions!

Okay from what I heared it isn't so bad. I just wanted to be sure that gas milleage won't really get very bad something like 10 mpg on highway instead of 23 mpg. I have heared about Camaros going very bad with SC ...

I am not yet decided for the Roe SC but going in this direction ...

My really problem is to get this SC into Canada ... :(

18 mpg, 200 miles between gas stops, average speed 90-100mph including a few spurts up to higher speeds. Of course this was on a closed race coarse
