Should I add stripes?

My Viper is going into Lee Dodge next month for speed work. While they have it I am having the nose repainted (too many chips). I am on the fence about adding stripes. They look groovy, but I also like the pure lines of the GTS. My car is Silver and I would add black stripes. Any advice (LOL)?

No way,Stripes are for mustangs,camaros and ricers.I'll stripe my car as soon as jag,am,mb,ferrari and lambo start sticking stripes on theirs.Can you tell that I don't like them?Seriously the appearance of the car is long for its width.Stripes exacerbate that look making the car look even narrower and longer. I vote for steel gray stripes. Someone here has their rt/10 done that way and it looks great, it would be something different than everyone else.

Having owned both stripes and non-stripes, I think the stripes look better...

I did some searching and found this picture the owner sent me. It is an rt/10, silver with steel gray stripes and looks outstanding in my opinion. I hope the owner does not mind me showing his beautiful car!
