Title kinda says it all.
Hi, as far as I know, Autoform is the only manufacturer approved for Viper Days events. I have one and I love it, a bit of disassembly is required, but it is a bolt on basicly. Find a local tuner/Viper tech to install it for you.
Yes, and I was under the impression that Autoform made one for the coupe as well.
IT DOESN'T NEED ONE, there is already a steel "roll bar" in there, not sure how much roll protection it would be though.
the bar that is in the stock coupe roof is pretty substantial, it bolts into the exact brackets that the "style hoops" in the vert bolt into. My guess is that unless you get real high hp and drag racing in the below 10 sec. bracket you won't be required to have a rollbar. That said it is good piece of mind and cheap insurance to protect your mellon. Any car i have tracked(all convertables) i have added a formal rollbar for the obvious reasons. Most club track days, PCA, Viperdays and BMW club and most others will not require it unless you have a convertable or get invoved in the actual racing classes instead of the open track/driver education days.
Jon, what did they say?
Guys,
are you seeing my posts?
John Archer makes a roll bar for the 2006 Viper Coupe!
I'm sure that Skip would know this...

The roll bar is $2,000 and John says installation labor runs about $1,000 and it's a BOLT ON (not welded).
